Sun 16th May - Mark Brisbourne Stable Visit.
Our second visit to this yard although it is several years since our last invitation so hopefully both old and new members will enjoy this chance to go around the yard again!.
The stables are situated at Great Ness, Shropshire and the visit will start at 10.00 am. As there's no local racing that day we will arrange a pub lunch after the visit if there is enough interest - please advise Dave when booking.

As usual the club will be collecting a small donation of £4 (members) and £5 (guests) towards stable gratuities as a thank you for our visit.
Haydock Raceday - Friday Evening 21st May Haydock have now allocated the club with a race at this meeting and we would like to see many club members there on the night if possible. Members badges will be available at the reduced price of £18pp and can be puchased via the web site below. A small handling charge is added to cover Paypal fees and postage. Orders received by 12 noon on 14th May will be posted out with any later orders left for collection at the racecourse - last order date will be 12 noon on 20th May.
If we have at least 20 members/guests present we have been offered a private room in the Tommy Whittle stand with bar etc - so even if you don't need tickets can Haydock Members who are attending and wish to use this facility please let me know asap (info@northernracingclub.com). As usual we shall require volunteers to assist with the pre and post race presentaions - again please e mail as above if interested.
NRC'S 2010 PITCH N PUTT SHIELD
For those moderate golfers and beginners this is just the fun competition to enter.
So far we have had suggested venues as Heaton Park, Warrington, Chester and Burnley - any more?
Groups of 3 or more will arrange to play as often as they like with confirmed cards (signed by at least 2 others) qualifying for the overall scores with the best 3 scores over the period (April-October) used to determine the winner.No more than 2 cards from any single course can be used for the overall scores.
Ladies will initially be allocated a handicap of 14 strokes with all others on par.
